Built in 1856, the Governor’s Mansion is the oldest continuously occupied executive residence west of the Mississippi.
The Collection
Ten rooms in the Texas Governor’s Mansion contain the Mansion Collection of fine and decorative arts curated by Friends of the Governor’s Mansion.
Free guided tours of the Texas Governor’s Mansion are available Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
