Today, the Parlors are furnished with one of the country’s finest collections of nineteenth-century American antiques. Most of the furniture seen today was acquired by Friends of the Governor’s Mansion during the 1979-1982 restoration/renovation. Furniture displayed in these rooms includes that from some of the finest American craftsmen, including Duncan Phyfe, William Hook, Charles-Honoré Lannuier, and Samuel McIntyre.
